The Laminex Group helps out the Kaeo Rugby Club

The Kaeo Rugby Club in Northland was flooded twice in 2007 - first in March and then again in July. To assist in its rebuilding, The Laminex Group donated particleboard flooring for the entire club house (approx. 350m2).

To ensure the clubrooms are never flooded again, planning has started on a project to raise the building by 2.4m on to a block basement. The building was lifted on Friday 2nd May 2008 and Close-Up from TV1 filmed the entire event which was then aired the following Monday.

The Club representative Clare Farrell, wearing The Laminex Group    t-shirt and cap and standing in front of The Laminex Group banner expressed their heartfelt thanks for our support.

The club still has major reconstruction requirements and it is hoped that businesses will continue to provide assistance – for details on how you can help, please contact Clare Farrell on 09 4050479 or 0274 761070.
